Plant Growing Guide

Water Needs: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water deeply and regularly, especially during fruiting periods.

Sunlight Needs: Full sun (6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily).

Time to Germinate: 7–14 days.

Seed Soaking: Soak seeds in warm water for 24 hours before planting to improve germination rates.

Tray/Pot Recommendations: Start seeds indoors in trays or pots 8–10 weeks before the last frost date. Transplant outdoors once seedlings are 15–20 cm tall and the weather is consistently warm.

Space Requirements: Space plants 45–60 cm apart in rows 75–90 cm apart to allow for proper growth and airflow.

Temperature Requirements: Eggplants thrive in warm temperatures between 24–30°C (75–86°F). Protect plants from frost and ensure soil temperatures are above 21°C (70°F) before transplanting.

Time to Harvest: 70–85 days after transplanting. Harvest when the skin is glossy and firm to the touch. Avoid letting fruits over-ripen.
