Plant Growing Guide

Water Needs: Keep soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Regular watering is essential, especially during the root development stage.

Sunlight Needs: Full sun (6-8 hours of direct sunlight daily).

Time to Germinate: 10-20 days.

Seed Soaking: Soak seeds overnight, drain, and pre-germinate in a paper towel inside a ziplock bag for 5-6 days until they start to germinate. This method helps speed up germination as carrot seeds can take a long time to sprout.

Tray/Pot Recommendations: Directly sow seeds in the garden rather than using seed trays. Use deep, well-draining soil to accommodate root growth.

Space Requirements: Space seeds 5-10 centimeters apart. Thin seedlings to allow 10-15 centimeters between mature plants.

Temperature Requirements: Optimal growing temperatures range from 15-25°C.

Best Growing Season: In Thailand, it is best to grow Purple Carrots from October to March, when temperatures are cooler and rainfall is less frequent.
